Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) EDI MZB's Belmiro Sanches started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 5th minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Recep Talha Bircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Orhan Karataş came free, but Valdo de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdo de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Orhan Karataş in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Belmiro Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Burhan Okboğa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Andrade hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Gencay Reşan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XL-Azrail Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aytekin Toktuğ made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Yavuz Durualp. 29 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Gürcan Ser came free, but Valdo de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürcan Ser in the 40th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Valdo de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Gürcan Ser came free, but Valdo de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ali Orhan Karataş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdo de Queirós was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 46th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Fernandez to maneuver through the defense.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürcan Ser in the 52nd minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Valdo de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Orhan Karataş in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo de Queirós saved EDI MZB from getting behind. If Evandro Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Recep Talha Bircan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Gencay Reşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Evandro Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Talha Bircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Sidnei Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Maia in the 67th minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Recep Talha Bircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to XL-Azrail Team getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gürcan Ser hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Belmiro Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Recep Talha Bircan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 minutes, Aytekin Toktuğ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XL-Azrail Team and the EDI MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Aytekin Toktuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 81st minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Recep Talha Bircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Recep Talha Bircan came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by EDI MZB's Belmiro Sanches. But to his dismay, Belmiro Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st match minute, XL-Azrail Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şentürk Cihanser to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Ali Orhan Karataş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdo de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürcan Ser in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The EDI MZB fans cheered their team off the field, for while XL-Azrail Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
