The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Udo Gellrich came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Srebrny Grom DK's Zachariasz Polakowski. But to his dismay, Zachariasz Polakowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Srebrny Grom DK's Gustaw Sobania played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edbert Scherbaum in the 11th minute of play. Zbyszek Laskowski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thorsten Wexler's late challenge caught a Srebrny Grom DK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thorsten Wexler helped the player get up and apologised. Thorsten Wexler kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Srebrny Grom DK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Czubski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Srebrny Grom DK's Zachariasz Polakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikolaj Tylenda charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikolaj Tylenda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustaw Sobania showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willi Pförtner, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thorsten Wexler might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaw Sobania. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorsten Wexler ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Czubski lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 65th minute of the match Juliane Keßler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustaw Sobania skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Srebrny Grom DK's Marian Bartocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Udo Gellrich. That made the score 0-4 after 68 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, SV Klingsmoos's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Bartocha came free, but Udo Gellrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Srebrny Grom DK booed when SV Klingsmoos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Buchholtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorsten Wexler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute of the match, Zachariasz Polakowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Udo Gellrich saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When SV Klingsmoos's Edbert Scherbaum in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marian Bartocha spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SV Klingsmoos's goal. Udo Gellrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Polakowski in the 89th minute of the match.
