In the 12th minute Achaz Beier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SV Klingsmoos's Waldemar Roppel got control of the ball when Dariusz Smuskiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 minutes SV Klingsmoos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dariusz Smuskiewicz who took care of the corner kick. If Juliane Keßler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerônimo Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Domenech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomir Waldoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Örjan Vestlund during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
