The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Freddy Pangua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Arieșan. Cavalerii Viola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Pangua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Freddy Pangua succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. When Nechifor Tăutu fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavalerii Viola's protests and gave Nechifor Tăutu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Nechifor Tăutu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Freddy Pangua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Arieșan. After 15 minutes of play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Freddy Pangua made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Arieșan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute of the match Fidensio Mendieta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Arieșan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Remus Vrejiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Freddy Pangua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Remus Vrejiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Tăutu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernandez Ventosa having to interfere. When Unikurdos United F.C.'s Pitin Malet in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Freddy Pangua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Arieșan was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Gabriel Arieșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Pangua in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After 51 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fidensio Mendieta. After recieving a nice pass, Cavalerii Viola's Dinu Talianu tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, one of Cavalerii Viola:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Hernandez Ventosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Bărbat in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Cavalerii Viola's Gabriel Arieșan got control of the ball when Pitin Malet tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Unikurdos United F.C.'s Freddy Pangua in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Freddy Pangua received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernandez Ventosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Vrejiu in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes Unikurdos United F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dinu Talianu who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Gheorghe Maiorescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Unikurdos United F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
