After 10 minutes, Severino Loco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martin Palermo F.C. and the Golden Dragón F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Martin Palermo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Severino Loco. Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Izquierdo in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Pereta in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martín Izquierdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Golden Dragón F.C's Joaquim Pereta got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Golden Dragón F.C's Joaquim Pereta in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Dario Cordarrol's late challenge caught a Golden Dragón F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaitano Reza in the 25th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Martín Izquierdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florin Quelia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Izquierdo in the 29th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Benjamin Izquierdo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florin Quelia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastián Izquierdo got free with Florin Quelia in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benicio Izquierdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Quelia having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Florin Quelia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Orlo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benicio Izquierdo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Benicio Izquierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Izquierdo to maneuver through the defense.
