The audience was convinced that Christian Izquierdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Hurko was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Carmelo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Perrando in the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Ignado got free with Martín Izquierdo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Liberland's Carmelo Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Izquierdo in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Liberland's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Izquierdo came free, but Carmelo Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liberland's Carmelo Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Izquierdo in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Liberland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Ignado to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Hurko came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo. But to his dismay, Sebastián Izquierdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Rafael Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Hurko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Orlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Herminio Ignado made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Martín Izquierdo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Herminio Ignado sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Herminio Ignado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmelo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Izquierdo in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herminio Ignado to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Celso Frutos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rafael Erramun struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Martín Izquierdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberland. 57 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Guido Orlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Hurko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Palermo F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Izquierdo in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Benjamin Izquierdo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carmelo Hurko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Ignado in the 61st minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Martín Izquierdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Izquierdo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, one of Martin Palermo F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Martin Palermo F.C.. Sebastián Izquierdo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmelo Hurko having to make a save. Christian Izquierdo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Carmelo Hurko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martin Palermo F.C.. Carmelo Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Izquierdo in the 70th minute of play forced Liberland's goalkeeper Carmelo Hurko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Flor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín Izquierdo having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Liberland's goalkeeper Carmelo Hurko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastián Izquierdo. Christian Izquierdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Carmelo Hurko made a huge save. The supporters of Liberland booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pastor Rutenio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Liberland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Rutenio couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Christian Izquierdo could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Carmelo Hurko however easily saved by the left post. Placido Ilazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Rafael Erramun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liberland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Erramun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martín Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Ignado in the 89th minute of the match. Carmelo Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Izquierdo in the 91st minute of play. Carmelo Hurko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastián Izquierdo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 94 minute of play. Martin Palermo F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
