Estebe Caneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Pereta's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Unikurdos United F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. José Alejandro Díaz hit a great ball. After 35 minutes of play, Golden Dragón F.C's Joaquim Pereta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Estebe Caneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Unikurdos United F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Dragón F.C were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rexino Astera to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Gaueko Fariñada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Unikurdos United F.C.'s zone, Joaquim Pereta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estebe Caneiro came out of the goal and Joaquim Pereta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estebe Caneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Pereta in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Golden Dragón F.C's Arsenio Lanzon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arsenio Lanzon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Golden Dragón F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arsenio Lanzon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 68th minute, one of Golden Dragón F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden Dragón F.C. The referee gave Unikurdos United F.C. a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fidensio Mendieta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Rexino Astera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Quelia was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Eron Sanez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paskal Panguision hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Golden Dragón F.C were awarded a corner. Joaquim Pereta went to the cornerflag to take it. Rius Elvira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alvaro Rello kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Estebe Caneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eron Sanez in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eron Sanez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Estebe Caneiro. That made the score 1-2 in the 85 minute of play. Rius Elvira kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Rello in the 90th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Florin Quelia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estebe Caneiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. The Golden Dragón F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Golden Dragón F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
