Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredinho de Senna in the 15th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cavalerii Viola's goalie and right to Amadeu Prado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cavalerii Viola's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's attentive Vitório Campidelis managed to snatch the ball when Ernest Tâlvescu made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Luiz Fabiano Orange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Luiz Fabiano Orange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Scorţea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Ezio Orange got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remus Vrejiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chiquinho Guerra having to make a save. Luiz Fabiano Orange might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Scorţea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fabiano Orange ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Scorţea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Orange, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's zone, Remus Vrejiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Guerra came out of the goal and Remus Vrejiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Scorţea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeu Prado scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Scorţea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iordache Bognar to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fabiano Orange blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Scorţea having to make a save. When Luiz Fabiano Orange came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Orange couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fabiano Orange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Robert Scorţea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rubens Cerezo hit a great ball. If Iordache Bognar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The match ended with a win for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ.
