Bernard Seliga helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Seliga came free, but João Carlos Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Osmar Rosario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 minutes Newcastle United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomé Sergipano who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yu Bin Yi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes, Adam Paraszczuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the ROSÁRIO SPORT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Carlos Fernandes got control of the ball when Bernard Seliga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Borys Szarmach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. João Carlos Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the game, Osmar Rosario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kryspin Wyrostek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kryspin Wyrostek came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Osmar Rosario. But to his dismay, Osmar Rosario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 74th match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Velasco to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Ernani Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Wyrostek should have stopped the shot. If Ernani Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kryspin Wyrostek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Xavier in the 85th minute of play. Adam Paraszczuk was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Paraszczuk to maneuver through the defense.
