The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Asopos Katsiavrias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nilson do Vale made a huge save. Valdir Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Gau having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Copérnico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Cordeal. Luiz Guilherme Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Gau having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bandelocos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Copérnico F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
