Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Montrell to make the kick off. António Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cristian Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Rubio might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Gau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Rubio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asopos Katsiavrias in the 57th minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Nicasio Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
