After 4 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Teixeira. After recieving a nice pass, Amelie FC's Marcial Leoiar tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Dowdall came free, but Nicasio Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Rubio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson do Vale was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Nicasio Benino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Dowdall in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when António Tinoco came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Konrad Kasprzak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amelie FC's Nicasio Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Vargas in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale got control of the ball when Konrad Kasprzak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Dowdall in the 73rd minute of play. With 76 minutes on the clock, Gösta Harman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Amelie FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. After some careless play in the Amelie FC defense, Valdir Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Benino. The Amelie FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Benino should have stopped the shot. The Bandelocos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Amelie FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Amelie FC.
