Spectators: 7680 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marin Zbuchea kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Naldo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. 5 minutes into the match, Humberto Eliu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. F.C. YKE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Eliu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sorin Vermeşan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Uzuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, F.C. YKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Oblemenco to maneuver through the defense. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Naldo in the 15th minute of play. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Naldo in the 19th minute of play. Madison were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after F.C. YKE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faustino Avellaneda took the corner. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Eliu in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Humberto Eliu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 31st minute, Hernan Uzuri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmuth Duckadam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 42nd minute, F.C. YKE's Marin Zbuchea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Peru in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Benito Naldo made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Blasi. 56 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Naldo came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Naldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Helmuth Duckadam made a huge save. With a little luck, F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Benito Naldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severiano Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Oblemenco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Eliu. After a rather tough play, Madison's Ciriaco Blasi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Zbuchea in the 66th minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Uzuri in the 69th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Benito Naldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Humberto Eliu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Marin Zbuchea charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marin Zbuchea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Marin Zbuchea got a free kick in the 78th minute. Benito Naldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Naldo in the 82nd minute of play. Hernan Uzuri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmuth Duckadam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Severiano Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Macrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Benito Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Madison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brahim Boutabout to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Macrea in the 91st minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. YKE's zone, Humberto Eliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal and Humberto Eliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Eliu took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Madison played a much better game than F.C. YKE and deserved their victory. The F.C. YKE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
