Shi Kun Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Zbuchea in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Edgar Oblemenco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Kun Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldir Urbano in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clóvis Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, one of F.C. YKE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. YKE. Helmuth Duckadam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Trancoso went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Urbano came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as Real Fantasma's Waldir Urbano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. That made the score 0-3 after 59 minutes of play. With a little luck, F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Váldson Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantin Buzea kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Real Fantasma left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than F.C. YKE.
