The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ORION F.C.'s Carman Jobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Secco in the 6th minute of play. Chico Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Joel Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carman Jobson. ORION F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rd minute Sebastião Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Jobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carman Jobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Jânio Paraíba got control of the ball when Mikail Savgat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ORION F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carman Jobson should have stopped the shot. The ORION F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Chico Secco made the kick off in the second half. Jânio Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikail Savgat in the 52nd minute of play. ORION F.C.'s Carman Jobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Moraes in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Chico Secco could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Carman Jobson however easily saved by the left post. Jânio Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Calderón, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Calderón in the 58th minute of play forced FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's goalkeeper Jânio Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franklin Agurto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Paraíba having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's zone, Felipe Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jânio Paraíba came out of the goal and Felipe Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Enrique De Diego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Chico Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carman Jobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of ORION F.C. booed when FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Arthur dos Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carman Jobson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO reached it. 86 minutes into the match, Franklin Agurto notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Jânio Paraíba. Jânio Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Sebastião Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Jobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Agurto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, César Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carman Jobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Moraes went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
