The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Waldir Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marino Sadin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marino Sadin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Waldir Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Fantasma's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marino Sadin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Francisco Aguayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Waldir Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marino Sadin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Luis Mena threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Fantasma's Rodriguinho do Valle quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 30th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Marino Sadin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marino Sadin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. 52 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Urbano came free, but Marino Sadin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shi Kun Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolito Neira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Marcos Francisco Aguayo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Marino Sadin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
