Spectators: 7774 (Terracing: 5831, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chico Secco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jânio Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Eliu in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Naldo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jânio Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Rafe made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Chico Secco sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO were awarded a corner. Egídio Sanches went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Egídio Sanches to fire away a dangerous shot which Severiano Rafe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Chico Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Brahim Boutabout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Paraíba having to interfere. Raphael Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Severiano Rafe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Sebastião Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Naldo in the 25th minute of play forced FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's goalkeeper Jânio Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Vedillo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Madison's Hernan Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Naldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Naldo in the 52nd minute. Arthur dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Eriberto Godoi got a free kick in the 59th minute. Severiano Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur dos Santos in the 61st minute of play. If Humberto Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Moraes in the 69th minute of the match. Brahim Boutabout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jânio Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Jânio Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Eliu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Severiano Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Vedillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jânio Paraíba. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 88th minute FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO were awarded a corner. Egídio Sanches went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's corner Egídio Sanches fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Severiano Rafe quite easily take care of the ball. Madison's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
