An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Domingues in the 17th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Fabien Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ground Control's Batiste Lassalle couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Breguete FC. The audience was convinced that Just Bazoge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson Souza was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Just Bazoge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Just Bazoge came free, but Jefferson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Filipe Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breguete FC and the Ground Control players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Just Bazoge couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Djibril Blanchon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Just Bazoge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roberto Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breguete FC's protests and gave Roberto Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Roberto Toledo hit a great ball. Djibril Blanchon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Souza having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Rodrigo Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Domingues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamim Rezende during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Batiste Lassalle's late challenge caught a Breguete FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batiste Lassalle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ground Control's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breguete FC the free kick. Just Bazoge hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Breguete FC's Jefferson Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Just Bazoge in the 82nd minute of play. Ground Control's Fabien Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Mesquita in the 84th minute of play. Jefferson Souza was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Just Bazoge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Just Bazoge really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Simon Moy put in a rough tackle. The Breguete FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ground Control's performance. The match ended with a win for Ground Control.
