Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Paulo França started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pereiras FC's zone, Luís Paulo França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Botelho came out of the goal and Luís Paulo França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Paulo França in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vânderson Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gonçalo de Queirós hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Luís Paulo França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo França in the 23rd minute of play forced Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save TAQUARI FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Isidoro in the 30th minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Paulo França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vânderson Botelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Josué Brito got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Zhuo Cheng Xiang notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta. Sílvio Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vânderson Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo França in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Isidoro to make the kick off. Vânderson Botelho made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Luís Paulo França sent off a good shot on target. In the 59thth minute of the game Luís Paulo França who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pereiras FC's Vânderson Botelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, José Carlos Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pereiras FC made a substitution. Enio Palmeira replaced Silas Soeiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Valdir Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAQUARI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vânderson Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vânderson Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Ronaldo Isidoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Luís Paulo França came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the TAQUARI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Paulo França couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Cheng Xiang in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Zhuo Cheng Xiang made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Zonta. TAQUARI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Trancoso in the 91st minute of play. Sílvio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso in the 94th minute of play. Sílvio Zonta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhuo Cheng Xiang went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Pereiras FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of TAQUARI FC for a fine match.
