Ninjas FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ronaldo Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AD Pontassolense's protests and gave Ronaldo Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. Jesualdo Maltez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Grep, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jesualdo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Grep in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Branco came free, but Gösta Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Nélson Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ninjas FK's Gösta Andreasson got control of the ball when Arthur Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. AD Pontassolense's Jesualdo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Grep in the 33rd minute of play. Salvador Fraga charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Fraga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jesualdo Maltez came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ninjas FK's Torbjörn Grep. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Grep quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 41 played minutes Ninjas FK got a freekick which was hit by Prophet Mohammed. After a defensive mix-up in AD Pontassolense's zone, Prophet Mohammed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesualdo Maltez came out of the goal and Prophet Mohammed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The AD Pontassolense players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ninjas FK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Renato Alves made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Torbjörn Grep got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesualdo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Grep in the 57th minute of play. Torbjörn Grep might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesualdo Maltez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Grep ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, AD Pontassolense's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Grep came free, but Jesualdo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Nélson Bezerra with Afonso Castanheira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gösta Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Branco in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmiro Leite to maneuver through the defense. Ninjas FK's Lars-Erik Jakobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Grep notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AD Pontassolense's Jesualdo Maltez. Jesualdo Maltez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Johan Ekeberg during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
