With a little luck, mt93 Tarnów's Leon Armatys got control of the ball when Luís Paulo França tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match TAQUARI FC got a corner. mt93 Tarnów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zézinho Freire was slow to take the kick. During this time TAQUARI FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Chiquinho Esteves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but mt93 Tarnów's Leon Armatys did a great save. Leon Armatys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Paulo França went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 38 minutes, Luís Paulo França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAQUARI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TAQUARI FC's Luís Paulo França got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Josué Brito got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wali Wuttke in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Valdir Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TAQUARI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave mt93 Tarnów the free kick. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Valdir Peres hit a great ball. Tolek Walkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Sílvio Zonta made a huge save. Leon Armatys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo França in the 96th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. TAQUARI FC were victorious despite being under pressure from mt93 Tarnów for much of the match.
