Luís Paulo França scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teta Grande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Zacarias Gau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Zonta. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Luís Paulo França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teta Grande was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 18th minute, Donato Bladi made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Zonta. TAQUARI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Teta Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo França in the 21st minute of the match. Alto Marica hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Teodoro Lucero took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Sílvio Zonta to make any attempt to save it. Sebastião Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Paso FC's Tan Marica shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sílvio Zonta but with some difficulty. Tomas Piearres hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Tan Marica from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Sílvio Zonta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta got control of the ball when Marcelo Tajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute of the game Tomas Piearres made a throw-in which Donato Bladi played forward. Sílvio Zonta was a little too slow when Zacarias Gau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 4-2. In the 44th minute, Alto Marica reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sílvio Zonta. The goal made the score 5-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alto Marica got free with Sílvio Zonta in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Valdir Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Bladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Paso FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marcelo Tajo hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Piearres. In the 62nd match minute, Paso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Bladi to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, TAQUARI FC's Luís Paulo França ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teta Grande. Teta Grande yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. After 69 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Gau. After a rather tough play, Paso FC's Teodoro Lucero got a free kick in the 70th minute. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sílvio Zonta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Gau went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. Teta Grande made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Luís Paulo França sent off a good shot on target. Teta Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Paso FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
