The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Sobah Garcha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 7th minute Breguete FC were awarded a corner. Rodrigo Domingues went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Roberto Toledo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 9 minutes into the game, Zacarias Gau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breguete FC the free kick. A collision led to Paso FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Zacarias Gau hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Benjamim Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Cipriano Godoi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Paso FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Breguete FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elijo Conchas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Elijo Conchas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jefferson Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 19 minutes, Alto Marica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alto Marica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jefferson Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Breguete FC's Claudinei Mesquita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Filipe Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Marcelo Tajo made a precise shot to the right of Jefferson Souza. Breguete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Breguete FC's Jefferson Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Tajo in the 36th minute of play. Benjamim Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Donato Bladi scored 2-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jefferson Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Tajo came free, but Jefferson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Bladi made a kick off. The supporters of Paso FC booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes, Paso FC's Tan Marica shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jefferson Souza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paso FC reached it. Rodrigo Domingues hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Teodoro Lucero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Souza skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute, Holger Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Parto Upīte. In the 68th minute Claudinei Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sobah Garcha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paso FC's Sobah Garcha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Mesquita in the 69th minute of play. Marcelo Tajo scored 2-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamim Rezende took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sobah Garcha. Sobah Garcha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Marcelo Tajo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Jefferson Souza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 90th minute Zacarias Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sobah Garcha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Alto Marica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. Chants of Paso FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Breguete FC had held the ball for most of the match.
