Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emerson Leal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Yuri Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Bazinet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Cane hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Antoine Norton took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Catarinense. Vicente Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Norton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Antoine Norton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoine Norton in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Antoine Norton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Catarinense. Espigão Steamrollers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoine Norton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 31 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Matos. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Antoine Norton got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Emilio Hankins fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Lisboa e Benfica's protests and gave Emilio Hankins a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Emanuel Bazinet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vicente Catarinense came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Antoine Norton. But to his dismay, Antoine Norton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Sport Lisboa e Benfica were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antoine Norton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoine Norton in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Paranaense in the 64th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Emanuel Bazinet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoine Norton took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Catarinense. Vicente Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Sport Lisboa e Benfica made a substitution. Jared Temple replaced Lewis Horn. After some careless play in the Espigão Steamrollers defense, Antoine Norton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Catarinense. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Catarinense should have stopped the shot. Sport Lisboa e Benfica made a substitution. Dominic Hahn replaced Patrik Cane. Espigão Steamrollers's Válter Dantas pulled a muscle in his leg after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 84 minutes of play Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Emilio Hankins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Emilio Hankins got a free kick in the 85th minute. Emerson Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Art Solomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Catarinense having to interfere. Emanuel Bazinet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Rosa in the 92nd minute of the match.
