The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Umur Yuluğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saip Sezgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tugay Kerimoglu to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes 1930 Bafraspor got a freekick which was hit by George Popescu. Umur Yuluğ made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Erdal Tamkoç sent off a good shot on target. With 19 minutes on the clock, Rahman Kabadayı commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 20th minute, Rahman Kabadayı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gothic Souls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Robin Hood scored to the left of an out of position Umur Yuluğ, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, 1930 Bafraspor's George Popescu got a free kick in the 29th minute. Qin Sen Chen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Ozan Gökdoğan in the 32nd minute of play. Tugay Kerimoglu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabi Alonso to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's George Popescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Öztürk Umuralp took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qin Sen Chen. Qin Sen Chen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erdal Tamkoç was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Gothic Souls were awarded a corner. Tugay Kerimoglu went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Gothic Souls's Arif Ozan Gökdoğan got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdal Tamkoç in the 59th minute of play forced Gothic Souls's goalkeeper Umur Yuluğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gothic Souls getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tugay Kerimoglu hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Erdal Tamkoç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Umur Yuluğ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 68 minutes of play, 1930 Bafraspor's Bebeto Sarmento made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umur Yuluğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! 1930 Bafraspor's Wilfred Zaha was substituted for Saip Sezgen. In the 73rd match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asaf Eyüpoğlu to maneuver through the defense. George Popescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umur Yuluğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, 1930 Bafraspor's Bebeto Sarmento made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umur Yuluğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Erdal Tamkoç notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Gothic Souls's Umur Yuluğ. Umur Yuluğ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1930 Bafraspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
