Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chu Tasso in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaio Cobarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Espigão Steamrollers getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Walmyr Meira hit a great ball. Chu Tasso struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Vicente Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. Monte Lobato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Tasso FC's Chu Tasso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tasso FC's David Gilmour managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emerson Leal in the 30 minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Chu Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Chu Tasso put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Catarinense. After having played for 44 minutes, Chu Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chu Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Wesley Matorin got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Emerson Leal made the kick off in the second half. Yuri Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Monte Lobato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espigão Steamrollers. In the 56th minute Chu Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chu Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Catarinense having to make a save. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Juca Tasso hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Chu Tasso sped through Espigão Steamrollers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente Catarinense. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Espigão Steamrollers! Tasso FC's Brazilio Tasso was substituted for Santos Benet. In the 89th minute, Richard Dawkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Dawkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tasso FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
