Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yuri Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Viking Lo Russo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viking Lo Russo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yuri Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Franco Costanzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Leal made a kick off. When Viking Lo Russo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the El Golden Volvió! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viking Lo Russo couldn't finish the play. Espigão Steamrollers's Sílvio Luiz Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viking Lo Russo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute, Cristian Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Pimenta. After 67 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Giovanni Pimenta made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Costanzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viking Lo Russo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
