The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luiz Zanette showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Frichoso in the 46th minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Frichoso was the one to do the kick off. Justo Romo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sílvio Luiz Zanette firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 91 played minutes Club Sportivo Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Valente. Yuri Paranaense hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Club Sportivo Italiano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Espigão Steamrollers throughout the match.
