A collision led to AIK FOTBOLL getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Stig-Arne Skålberg hit a great ball. Sandy Fumarola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arne Kilström. AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres got control of the ball when Elof Hedin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svante Vestlund during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Giuseppe Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Barcellos Mineiro FC got a corner. AIK FOTBOLL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giuseppe Camargo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Barcellos Mineiro FC's Giuseppe Camargo to fire away a dangerous shot which Arne Kilström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandy Fumarola in the 47th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Dahlqvist to make the kick off. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Camargo in the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuseppe Camargo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Kilström saved AIK FOTBOLL from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, one of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave AIK FOTBOLL a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Svante Vestlund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres. 1-0. 77 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chu Liang Ping. Chu Liang Ping could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Arne Kilström made a huge save. Waldir Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Hermansson in the 82nd minute of play. Manuel Antunes made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AIK FOTBOLL's Michel Bergendahl. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Axelsson in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Peres saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind. In the 93rd match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waka Barcellos to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's Stig-Arne Skålberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
