Miro Klose charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miro Klose the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radomir Gajewski to strike the kick off in the second half. When Boniel Ballesteros fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus FC's protests and gave Boniel Ballesteros a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus FC's Radomir Gajewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Peruzzi. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Carmine Gori got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute Paolo Abastas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miro Klose came free, but Mansour Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Santos Albizua fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus FC's protests and gave Santos Albizua a yellow card for diving instead. FC Aquile Azzurre's Bianco Guidoni was substituted for Miro Klose. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Juventus FC! Mansour Buffon had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Frank Nelli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
