The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hansjörg Görlitz came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SC Otten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hansjörg Görlitz couldn't finish the play. Frederik Vielmann took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Albuquerque. Eusébio Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eusébio Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Tenhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Santo Amaro AC defense, Rudi Tenhagen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Albuquerque. The Santo Amaro AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when SC Otten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhold Friedl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Soeiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olaf Lübke could save by the left post. When Ronnie Schilder, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eusébio Albuquerque was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Rudi Tenhagen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Eusébio Albuquerque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes in the game, Rudi Tenhagen dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 26th minute Frederik Vielmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi Tenhagen came free, but Eusébio Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Rudi Tenhagen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Albuquerque. Santo Amaro AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudi Tenhagen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Simeon Gill hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Simeon Gill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Otten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Raimundo Salgado put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Santo Amaro AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Otten:s goal. Eusébio Albuquerque went to the wrong direction when Sargon Baek was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball.
Diguinho Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudi Tenhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Albuquerque having to interfere. Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Vielmann in the 60th minute of play. Eusébio Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Vielmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Ronnie Schilder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Otten's Frederik Vielmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusébio Albuquerque. That made the score 1-7 after 65 minutes of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Ronnie Schilder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusébio Albuquerque saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eusébio Albuquerque was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frederik Vielmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 70 minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santo Amaro AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! 78 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hansjörg Görlitz. Ronnie Schilder kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Diguinho Ortiz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ronnie Schilder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Soeiro. Ronnie Schilder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusébio Albuquerque made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Rudi Tenhagen sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded SC Otten left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santo Amaro AC.
