The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thierry Bianchini to make the kick off. Eusébio Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuur Van Castel in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Ramón Guerra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Izak Capellemans, 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, Mitch Hollandts notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Eusébio Hoffmann. Eusébio Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lions United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Paul-Louis Van Caubergen hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Ramón Guerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Izak Capellemans skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over Guadalupe FC - CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lions United throughout the match.
