Jake Debono hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Anthonio Zeppeli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amadeo Rapinett. Attard Gunners's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Vassallo in the 21st minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edgardo Fuica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edgardo Fuica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Rapinett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mogel Joestar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lawrence De Marco made a kick off. Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Murguia in the 54th minute of play. Vellito Liebana hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Xavion Zeppeli replaced Giovanni Giorno. Vellito Liebana kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ximenes Arganzua's late challenge caught a Attard Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 83rd match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthonio Zeppeli to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Mogel Joestar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
