When Felipe Lara fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cremonese FC's protests and gave Felipe Lara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Suipacha FC booed when Cremonese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cremonese FC's Kong Gang Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Arce in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Batista came free, but Isaac Txema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Arce was the one to do the kick off. Luizinho Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Jurgi in the 85th minute of play. Kong Gang Zhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tor Lönn in the 87th minute. Leonardo Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kong Gang Zhan made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cremonese FC had won after a very even match.
