When Tang Han fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nightmare's protests and gave Tang Han a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tang Han to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Cornelis Rondas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacardi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelis Rondas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Lenertej breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 minutes, Raymond Verheije made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Raymond Verheije recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Paul-Louis Van Mechelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymond Verheije in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Lenertej prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guy Grimault kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Witold Pryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Verheije in the 30th minute of play. 乔适桑 hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ronaldo 吴鹏 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arend Van Beneden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marco Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymond Verheije made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steven De Kelper during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bacardi FC's Steven De Kelper got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Ronaldo 吴鹏 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldo 吴鹏 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arend Van Beneden having to interfere. Aaron Chevalier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Arend Van Beneden made a huge save. Ronaldo 吴鹏 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Arend Van Beneden 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Nightmare's Witold Pryla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 79 minutes, Ademir de Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nightmare and the Bacardi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bacardi FC's Xander Steurms was substituted for Steven De Kelper. In the 80th match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir de Sena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Verheije in the 81st minute of play forced Nightmare's goalkeeper Edmund Lenertej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xander Steurms in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Paul-Louis Van Mechelen hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Witold Pryla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arend Van Beneden saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Nightmare supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nightmare would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
