FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 乔适桑 in the 8th minute of play. Raymond Verheije scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Elg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mats Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Verheije in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Morgan Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kurdistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morgan Åkesson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Arend Van Beneden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When FC Kurdistan's Eddie Andreasson in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Andreasson during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cornelis Rondas's late challenge caught a FC Kurdistan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelis Rondas helped the player get up and apologised. Cornelis Rondas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Bacardi FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Claes Andreasson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Steven De Kelper's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mats Elg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hans Vennerberg's late challenge caught a Bacardi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Vennerberg helped the player get up and apologised. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Jordan Peterson replaced Morgan Åkesson. FC Kurdistan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
