Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) FC Kurdistan's Eddie Andreasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Peterson in the 2nd minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the New Loser FC defense, Eddie Andreasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Negri. The New Loser FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Negri should have stopped the shot. Tarcisio Bezerra made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nildo Lira however managed to control. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. FC Kurdistan's Jordan Peterson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Andreasson came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Negri came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kurdistan's Eddie Andreasson. But to his dismay, Eddie Andreasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Benett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Andreasson in the 30th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Eddie Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kurdistan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Malcolm Benett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eliseu Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Andreasson in the 39th minute of play. Eddie Andreasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eliseu Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Roger Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anestis Kakalis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mats Elg made a huge save. Anestis Kakalis made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 46thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Mats Elg would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 53rd minute Eddie Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Tarcisio Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Mats Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anestis Kakalis in the 60th minute of the match. Duarte Azevedo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of New Loser FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Kurdistan:s goal. FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after New Loser FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claes Andreasson took the corner. In the 66th minute of the match FC Kurdistan got a corner. New Loser FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claes Andreasson ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 68th minute, Nildo Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Bezerra's late challenge caught a FC Kurdistan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarcisio Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Lundström in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Negri saved New Loser FC from getting behind. In the 76th minute of the match, Jordan Peterson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliseu Negri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eliseu Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jordan Peterson in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Agne Britz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kurdistan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdistan's Agne Britz got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Agne Britz. 88 minutes into the game, Marco Lio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kurdistan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. FC Kurdistan played a much better game than New Loser FC and deserved their victory. The New Loser FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
