With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gav Smith in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Jurgi saved Alvi Boton from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Spartak de Txurdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Gökalp Taçkın to maneuver through the defense. Liberto Merino charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liberto Merino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Liberto Merino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Jurgi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gav Smith in the 39th minute. Enzo Bermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Alvi Boton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gav Smith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Nereo Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liberto Merino, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
