After 4 played minutes Ceilândia Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Tepedino. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 5th minute, but Adhemar Souto got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ceilândia Futebol Clube hanging dry this time. The corner led Nightmare's Aaron Chevalier to fire away a dangerous shot which Adhemar Souto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Nightmare's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Pinheiro came free, but Edmund Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geoff Turner hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Witold Pryla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Nightmare got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Chevalier. Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Adhemar Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ceilândia Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Aaron Chevalier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Claudinho Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witold Pryla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Adhemar Souto made a huge save. Witold Pryla took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar Souto. Adhemar Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Aníbal Tepedino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmund Lenertej. Nightmare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Witold Prylas short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Adhemar Souto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute, Aaron Chevalier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aaron Chevalier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Benitez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Gil Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceilândia Futebol Clube's protests and gave Gil Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Adhemar Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Pryla in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Nightmare got a freekick which was hit by Geoff Turner. 56 minutes into the match, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Pryla came free, but Adhemar Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Renan Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ceilândia Futebol Clube defense, Witold Pryla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adhemar Souto. The Ceilândia Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adhemar Souto should have stopped the shot. Renan Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmund Lenertej came out and tried to block the shot, but Renan Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. Adhemar Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Pryla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Nightmare's goalkeeper Edmund Lenertej had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Dante. In the 75th minute Elias Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Nightmare's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elias Dante fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Nightmare getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Norbert Pruss hit a great ball. Nightmare's Wiktor Fink was substituted for Guy Grimault. Nightmare made a substitution. Ademir de Sena replaced Marco Benitez. In the 86th minute, Norbert Pruss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariusz Skarpiak kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ademir de Sena sped through Ceilândia Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adhemar Souto.
