After having played for 7 minutes, Hans Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kurdistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Hellström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Pinheiro in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Andreasson in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adhemar Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adhemar Souto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddie Andreasson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 27th minute Renan Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eddie Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Die Hard put in a rough tackle. Mats Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Alcântara in the 38th minute of play. The throw-in from Emiliano Bertran in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Kurdistan's Malcolm Benett. Mats Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Emiliano Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Alex Martinsson. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jordan Peterson made a kick off. With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg got control of the ball when Aníbal Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Dante got free with Mats Elg in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdistan from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Hans Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Kurdistan fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when FC Kurdistan's Jordan Peterson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Kurdistan's Fabian Lundström was substituted for Eddie Andreasson. Emiliano Bertran charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Bertran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Dante in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Mats Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Elg made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Elias Dante sent off a good shot on target. After 65 played minutes Ceilândia Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Bertran. Anaking Skywalker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Elg came out and tried to block the shot, but Anaking Skywalker slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 72nd minute. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Jari Litmanen replaced Jordan Peterson. Emiliano Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mats Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Dante in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Elg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Mats Elg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jari Litmanen charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jari Litmanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jari Litmanen to maneuver through the defense. Adhemar Souto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jari Litmanen went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 90 minutes of play, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Elias Dante made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Elg was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Alcântara in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Renan Alcântara made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Elg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
