The referee showed Lennart Libesoons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arend Van Beneden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Chevalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Edmund Lenertej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Vissenakens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Bacardi FC's corner Cornelis Rondas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmund Lenertej quite easily take care of the ball. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 乔适桑 in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Bacardi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artuur Van Steen to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Tang Han from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Arend Van Beneden's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Arend Van Beneden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Pryla, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Benitez in the 33rd minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Vissenakens in the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Witold Pryla took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arend Van Beneden to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurice Vissenakens was the one to do the kick off. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Vissenakens in the 52nd minute of play. If Witold Pryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Marco Benitez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arend Van Beneden was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul-Louis Van Mechelen got free with Edmund Lenertej in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arend Van Beneden came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Nightmare's Marco Benitez. But to his dismay, Marco Benitez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Arend Van Beneden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Chevalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute Marco Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arend Van Beneden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Nightmare's goalkeeper Edmund Lenertej had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymond Verheije. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond Verheije in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Lenertej saved Nightmare from getting behind. Nightmare made a substitution. Ademir de Sena replaced Marco Benitez. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nightmare's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cornelis Rondas was slow to take the kick. During this time Bacardi FC's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 86 minutes, Taka Jachvadze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nightmare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taka Jachvadze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Nightmare booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. 乔适桑 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Witold Pryla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arend Van Beneden was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir de Sena came free, but Arend Van Beneden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Witold Pryla notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bacardi FC's Arend Van Beneden. Arend Van Beneden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nightmare had won after a very even match.
