The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the Hermanö Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, De Kasteelheren's Henk Hoebe got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alfred Oevermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Cane in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orvar Stenquist in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Oevermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. De Kasteelheren's Nathan Wermans came free and shot a quick shot against goal 25 minutes in the game, fortunately Sonny Åkesson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Alfred Oevermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Wallgren in the 29th minute of play. Sonny Åkesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathan Wermans in the 33rd minute. Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Hermanö Oilers from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Nathan Wermans could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Sonny Åkesson however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, De Kasteelheren's Jonathan Dissels got a free kick in the 37th minute. Hermanö Oilers's Wilhelm Cane got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sonny Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Wermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Oevermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Cane in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nathan Wermans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Oevermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Wilhelm Cane's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfred Oevermans firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 56th minute Hermanö Oilers were awarded a corner. Patrik Holmberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Hermanö Oilers's Sten Stål was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfred Oevermans in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Dissels's late challenge caught a Hermanö Oilers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Dissels helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Dissels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nathan Wermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfred Oevermans made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Peter Bank sent off a good shot on target. Nathan Wermans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Åkesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Orvar Stenquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfred Oevermans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henk Hoebe hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match.
