In the 14th minute, Rosendo Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's Narciso Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Osoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Beturian in the 20th minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Saul Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LegionArgentina's zone, Narciso Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Osoitz came out of the goal and Narciso Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Narciso Beturian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Osoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Arnaldo Gabino struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aristides Etor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LegionArgentina. The corner led 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's Mauricio Hermon to fire away a dangerous shot which Saul Osoitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Beturian in the 38th minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Saul Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín got a freekick which was hit by Federico Fernández. In the 43rd minute Narciso Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Beturian in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Marcos Herrera could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Aristides Etor however easily saved by the left post. Aristides Etor was a little too slow when György Kósa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for György Kósa to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, LegionArgentina's Ermegildo Jaunti got a free kick in the 51st minute. Saul Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Beturian in the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín were awarded a corner. Mauricio Hermon went to the cornerflag to take it. Mauricio Cambranes made a great header on 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's corner, it was just that LegionArgentina's Saul Osoitz managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcos Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnaldo Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Fernández hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Aristides Etor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Wicherek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When LegionArgentina's György Kósa in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Beturian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saul Osoitz. That made the score 1-6 in the 81 minute of play. Saul Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, LegionArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Beturian came free, but Saul Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
