Joxa mé trasan's Andréas Qvalfeldt was substituted for Villiam Finman. 13 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Flinta came free, but Nando Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Arman von Liechtenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Lucas Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Joxa mé trasan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Flinta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raí Prestes got free with Claudio Aznar in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Edinho Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Marquez in the 27th minute of play. Independente FC's Nando Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Flinta in the 29th minute of play. Claudio Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Flinta to make the kick off. Fred Flinta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Nando Sena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wiliam Campidelis's late challenge caught a Joxa mé trasan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiliam Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. Wiliam Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Arman von Liechtenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independente FC's goalkeeper Nando Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Flinta got free with Nando Sena in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Secco in the 62nd minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joxa mé trasan were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Independente FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arman von Liechtenstein took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Arman von Liechtenstein got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nando Sena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 69th minute Luiz Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Joxa mé trasan defense, Raí Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Aznar. The Joxa mé trasan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Aznar should have stopped the shot. Christian Bronco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Luiz Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Aznar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goalkeeper Nando Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Flinta. Independente FC's Nando Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Independente FC from getting a goal against them. After 89 minutes, Thomas Lundin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joxa mé trasan and the Independente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Joxa mé trasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Lundin to maneuver through the defense. Joxa mé trasan were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
