Angelo Quico made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Clodoveo Gartxot sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Angelo Quico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Mendiko came free, but Generoso Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Mazorca's Generoso Nabar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Ortzi in the 32nd minute of play. Cirilo Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Nabar having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Pitin to make the kick off. After some careless play in the La Mazorca defense, Jimeno Pitin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Nabar. The La Mazorca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Nabar should have stopped the shot. Generoso Nabar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Celtic FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Mazorca.
