Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The audience was convinced that Bernardino Odon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bacary Filloux was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Odon in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bacary Filloux saved Royal PSG from getting behind. Grütly's Abel Polo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Gustave Szymczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Odon's late challenge caught a Royal PSG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Odon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when Grütly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Odon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurice Chalaye in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Gregory saved Grütly from getting behind. In the 12th minute of the match, Abel Polo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bacary Filloux saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Royal PSG! When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Grütly's Gaston Edur got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bacary Filloux. Bacary Filloux made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Guillem in the 22nd minute. Agustin Lamberto's late challenge caught a Royal PSG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Lamberto helped the player get up and apologised. Agustin Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Isidro Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Chalaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fabian Herbelin fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal PSG's protests and gave Fabian Herbelin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Maurice Chalaye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Ribiere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Grütly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Edur to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Grütly's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Chalaye came free, but Isidro Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 53rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Bernardino Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bacary Filloux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Galpin got free with Isidro Gregory in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidro Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 70th minute of play. In the 79th minute Abel Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bacary Filloux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Herbelin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Polo in the 83rd minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Bacary Filloux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grütly's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
