Juniors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Santxol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arsenio Llorenc hit a great ball. Ignacio Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juniors FC's Leonardo Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Gombal in the 25th minute of play. Leonardo Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Gombal in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Gartzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Iliana in the 38th minute of the match. Elpidio Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Gombal to make the kick off. Juniors FC's Leonardo Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Llorenc in the 65th minute of play. Ignacio Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Santxol having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Raul Santxol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AZURDUY F.C.'s Raul Santxol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. Juniors FC's Leonardo Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Hitzeder in the 76th minute of play. Gonzalo Pudes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Banaszak to maneuver through the defense. Federico Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Tomás Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juniors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Iliana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Juniors FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
