Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severo Checa kicked off to start the match. Angelo Quico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 7th minute of play. Tom Galpin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Quico having to make a save. Celtic FC:s Angelo Quico showed great skill when he stopped Tom Galpin:s penalty. In the 25th minute, Maurice Chalaye left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal PSG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 28th minute Royal PSG were awarded a corner. Brendan Queinnec went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Royal PSG's Brendan Queinnec to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Quico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Celtic FC's Angelo Quico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Chalaye in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Brendan Queinnec got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute of the game Anier Oalo made a throw-in which Niceto Naldo played forward. Angelo Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Royal PSG's Bacary Filloux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Checa in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurice Chalaye to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurice Chalaye scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Quico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brendan Queinnec kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Checa got free with Bacary Filloux in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when Celtic FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Maurice Chalaye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Quico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Chalaye in the 67th minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Angelo Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Maurice Chalaye had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Quico. Celtic FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurice Chalaye was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 77th minute, Anier Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Royal PSG's Maurice Chalaye nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Quico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Maurice Chalaye came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Royal PSG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurice Chalaye couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Maurice Chalaye sped through Celtic FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelo Quico. Angelo Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Galpin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Maurice Chalaye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Quico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Royal PSG fans cheered their team off the field, for while Celtic FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
