In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grütly's goalkeeper Isidro Gregory, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardino Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidro Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 16th minute of the match. Royal PSG's Maurice Chalaye got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidro Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Alphonse Auer got a free kick in the 34th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Isidro Gregory successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Royal PSG's zone, Abel Polo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bacary Filloux came out of the goal and Abel Polo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Maurice Chalaye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Thomas Ribiere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Edur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bacary Filloux. Royal PSG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bacary Filloux made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Odon in the 66th minute. Gaston Edur did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Bacary Filloux 70 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goalkeeper Bacary Filloux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Guillem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Chalaye in the 81st minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Isidro Gregory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Grütly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Edur to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Grütly's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Chalaye came free, but Isidro Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grütly's Abel Polo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Onfroy hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Bernardino Odon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bacary Filloux having to make a save. Grütly were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
