In the 21st minute, DESTROY's Brennan Johnson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Egemen Özbek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Antunes having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Santos Borre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DESTROY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Maradona in the 37th minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper Sílvio Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as DESTROY's Armando Maradona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sílvio Antunes. That made the score 6-0 after 43 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

A hard shot 53 in the game by Rui de Lima from a close distance when the talented Laurids Baylund managed to make a qualified save. DESTROY's players were relieved. In the 58th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Vesterberg in the 61st minute of the match. Aníbal Furlan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the S.C. Ferrari defense, Per-Erik Vesterberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Antunes. The S.C. Ferrari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Antunes should have stopped the shot. Santos Borre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Furlan to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Sarmento. When Evaristo Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the DESTROY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Macerio couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Per-Erik Vesterberg made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Antunes. S.C. Ferrari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After a rather tough play, DESTROY's Robert Söderlund got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes, Amauri Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Sílvio Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DESTROY's attentive Egemen Özbek managed to snatch the ball when Nilton Campidelis made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Santos Borre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Borre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sílvio Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
